From 6 weeks to toddlers, we will hold or chase them!

 

 

Little Light offers quality childcare for for babies from 6 weeks of age. Our caring and professional staff ministers to the children in our nursery in a variety of different ways.

 

Infants in our program will experience tender loving care in a small group setting as we strive to give your child the individual attention and interaction that they deserve and need, in addition to providing for their basic needs.

 

Each baby will have an individualized lesson plan that is tailored to the age and development of the baby.

 

NECESSITIES:

 

You will need to bring:

 

pre-made bottles (We can provide freezer/refrigerator space for breast milk, if you prefer.)

diapers

a pacifier

baby food

a sippy cup

bibs

a few changes of clothes (we can keep one change of clothes here, just in case, if you wish).

The center will not provide these necessities. Please make sure your child has everything he/she needs before you drop him off. Please also label everything! This includes toys, cups, blankets, everything your child brings along that you would like to come back home with him/her.

 

Please discuss with us what works best for your bundle of joy concerning eating, sleeping, and soothing. We want to support your home routine and keep things consistent and predictable for your baby. As this is an ever-changing thing, please keep us aware of changes in your child’s schedule/routine by updating the form as necessary.

 

The most important thing is that you know that our staff truly loves and cares for your baby as we would (and did) our own.

Exciting things for advanced toddler in your family!

 

 

Our Toddlers are our big boys and girls that are no longer new and hesitant walkers, but runners as well! Their level of activity and enthusiasm requires a fast paced learning geared specifically for their needs.

 

Our toddler classes, the Fish Bowl and the Owls, offer your little one the opportunity to explore the world around them in a safe environment. While your toddler still needs that tender and loving care, they will also be able to learn and grow through play and age-appropriate activities. It will allow the children to begin interacting with other children in a small-group setting, and will strengthen their social skills.

 

Our Toddler staff will introduce children to basic Bible concepts, colors, and shapes, numbers, language development, and social skills. The children will also participate in activities to strengthen their gross and fine motor skills and increasing vocabulary by being introduced to letters and letter sounds.

 

Most importantly, the love of Jesus will be shared with your child through foundational Bible songs and stories even at this young age. Your butterfly’s teacher will use a variety of fun and interesting ways to communicate God’s love with them, through the use of puppets, board books, flannel graphs, songs, and more!

 

All our children will have daily Bible and character education lessons, and our curriculum will provide your child with instruction in the areas of identification number concepts. All of the education lessons are geared specifically toward preparing them for the next step in their educational and spiritual journey!
